Wikipedia is by far and away THE best science resource on the web. It is THE starting point for formal research or simply a great way to learn about any, and I mean any, specific science topic you can think of.

Wikipedia provides three distinct advantages over other online resources: 1) super specific, very exact topics, 2) translation into “simple English” for kids, and 3) multiple hyper-links (in blue) to help the reader with most of the challenging science terms that appear in the text.

So, say “YES” to Wikipedia – one of the best resources on the web to help develop the language of science. And YES, Wikipedia articles are scientifically accurate.
